Over the last few years, I’ve been privileged to travel to some gorgeous Northland locations to photograph  weddings both large and small.  So where are the best locations in Northland to have a wedding?  Well here are my picks for some of the best wedding locations in Northland.

1. Whangarei’s Tutukaka Coast.  Spoilt for choice here.  A choice of beaches, a vineyard, The grassy grounds of Pacific Rendezvous Resort with its stunning backdrop of the Pacific Coastline and  there’s various reception options too.  These shots are from Bonita and Isaac’s wedding at the Pacific Rendezvous.                                                                                                               2.Copthorne Hotel & Resort in Omapere, Hokianga Harbour.  Under the tree on the lawn with the Hokianga Harbour as the backdrop, it’s hard to find a more picturesque spot for your ceremony.  Combine that with the spiritual  feel of the Hokianga, and the fact that no matter what the weather is doing elsewhere, you can almost always see a ray of sunshine over the harbour as you drive in.

3. Peppers Carrington Resort and Karikari Estate,  Karikari Peninsula in NZ’s Far North.  Carrringtons caters for up to 100 guests.  There are two choices of where to  hold the ceremony,  and two choices of  reception room. On location are  numerous picturesque locations for your  photos  and the surrounding area boasts some of Northlands best beaches.  You don’t need to spend a long time away from your guests to get great photos.
