“We were overwhelmed and so appreciative of all the help from family and friends to make such a wonderful day.  We couldn’t have organised the wedding from Perth without it.  It was a beautiful place to get married and have our reception.  These are very special places to me as they are where I grew up and are steeped in the Wagener history of Pukenui.

We were stoked by the number of people who travelled from throughout New Zealand, Australia and even Argentina to share our day with us.  Thanks everyone.” – Natalie.

Cecilia & Justin’s Northland Wedding09/02/2013

posted in Weddings

Northland Wedding PhotographyI recently had the opportunity to photograph CC & Justin’s Northland wedding.  It was at the Copthorne Hotel and Resort in Omapere.  The Hokianga Harbour provided the perfect backdrop for their NZ wedding photos.  They’re now back in freezing cold Sweden, so for a bit of warmth I thought I’d share a photo from their sunny Northland wedding day.

Printing Options28/11/2012

posted in Uncategorized, Weddings

Using this photo from Sarah & Ian’s Bay of Islands wedding, I wanted to show you a couple of options on how to present and preserve your wedding photos.   Canvas prints have a more neutral colour palette, and come wrapped and ready to hang on the wall.  Kodak’s Professional Metallic paper has a distinctive, eye-catching, metallic look, with both natural looking skin tones and vibrant colours.  I have fabulous suppliers for both so if you would like to get some of your wedding photos enlarged for the wall, then either of these are definitely worth considering.  I’ll prepare the images especially, you could even have them by Christmas!

Kodak Award 201213/11/2012

posted in Portrait, Uncategorized

I’m happy to have received another Kodak Gold Award, this year for one of my portrait photographs.  Once again it’s about capturing the moment.  Little brother Rhys had his own idea about how this portrait with his brothers should look.  It was taken during a family portrait fundraiser at the Tikipunga Playcentre here in Whangarei last year.
